That wasn't a picture of my car. My car's actually in better shape than hers is. But, we are at the body shop now, so I'll update more on the state of my car when I can.

I did the math.

For the past 34 weeks at my current contract job, I've billed 1382 hours.

That is despite the 2 days I took off for Julie's wedding and Memorial Day,
the July 4th holiday, the 4 days off for Mexico and Labor Day, Thanksgiving
holiday and the day after, and Christmas and New Years and one lonely sick
day.

That is 40.64 hours per week on average. Or, 40-hour weeks plus 22 extra
hours overall.

I rawk. I haven't missed a single hour of billable time in 8 months!

With all the LJ rumors swirling, I sure am glad I didn't spend that
gazillion dollars to up my LJ account to permanent account status.

Yes, they are supposedly going to be ok.

But the scare should be enough to give second thought to blowing a wad like
that.

Glad I didn't.
